To Ron Shiffman, co-founder of the Pratt Center for Community Development and a professor in the Graduate Center
for Planning at Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture, issues of economic justice and racial equity are most
important both on a personal and on a social level. He feels that racism is crushing for both the racist and the
victim. He developed a great respect for ERASE Racism’s President, Elaine Gross, and the mission and work of the
organization.
Ron gives a financial donation to ERASE Racism automatically each month with recurring payments made through
Network for Good. He states, “We spend money on a lot more trivial things. I want my grandchildren to grow up in a
more just world where they are equal to their peers.”
You can donate securely to ERASE Racism, give through Network for Good or Just Give directly on the ERASE Racism
website. ERASE Racism looks forward to a continued relationship with regular donors and Partners like Ron who act
to promote racial equity.
