ERASE Racism’s Student Task Force helps students develop their leadership skills, identify their strengths and assets, and build alliances with students of different racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, as well as across district lines.
Our Student Task Force for Racial and Socioeconomic Equity has identified 5 main areas of interest: (1) Expansion of Culturally Responsive Curriculum; (2) Increasing Teacher and Administrator Diversity; (3) Creating an Inclusive School Climate; (4) Addressing School and Community Segregation; and (5) Implementing Restorative Justice Practices. At ongoing meetings, both in-person and digitally, they will discuss what steps need to be taken to transform their interests into action.
Thank you for your interest in working with ERASE Racism!
